Yet another hugely successful Variety Golf Annual Charity Dinner was held on Sunday 2 December 2019 when over 50 members and their guests assembled for dinner at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London for an evening of laughter and comradeship.
Len Goodman, Captain for 2020, was officially welcomed into his new role and was presented with a framed caricature.
The entertainment for the evening came from our President, Jimmy Tarbuck, OBE, top comedian Jim Davidson OBE, hospital radio DJ Ivan Brackenbury, and Variety Golf resident, Bobby Davro, all of whom were exceptionally funny and kept the 500 guests in stitches.
The evening raised over £200,000.
