We had a fantastic day yesterday at The Richmond Golf Club for The Chairman’s Trophy which was kindly sponsored by our Chairman Pip Burley and Mike Spanswick. A great day was had by all and with a record attendance of 92 golfers yesterday, it really enabled us to raise even more much needed funds for the Children and in fact we nearly raised enough for a Sunshine coach with a staggering £23,000 raised on the day!! The Richmond GC really looked after us and with their fantastic marquee attached to the Clubhouse we were able to have 92 golfers eating Dinner together safely and some great entertainment from Ian Irving who also conducted a very successful auction too.
The winning team was actually won by Ian Irving, Raj Sandhu, Ron Winchester and David Horwood by 2 points with 93 points and theSir Henry Cooper Belt (kindly donated by Neil Bookatz) was won by Ron Winchester with a sensational 45 points!!
