There are many ways you can donate to Variety Golf – the Children’s Charity
Hopefully, by the time you have read through this website, you will want to help us in one way or another. Because, although Variety Golf is centred around the game of golf and the comradeship that goes with it, the work we do as a children’s charity goes far beyond that.
Everything we do is to the benefit of thousands of children, here in the UK, who badly need the very help we can provide – but this can only be done with your generosity and support. Whether or not you are a golfer, a member of Variety Golf or simply a compassionate, charitable supporter of our work, there are a number of ways you can donate.
Here is a brief round-up of what you can do, individually or through your company:
Donate a Sunshine Coach
Every year an increasing number of members and supporters sponsor a Sunshine Coach.
Although the cost of a coach will vary depending on its size and specification, we currently quote a figure of £25,000. For this you will see your own coach on the road – with your or your company’s name on it – which you can present to the lucky school or institution receiving it. Where possible, with your involvement, we will find a school in or nearby your area. We know this is a big commitment but bear in mind your Sunshine Coach will be used five days a week, fifty-two weeks a year, for the next ten years or more. That’s great value both for our special children and for you.
Alternatively, you could join up with a group of friends and present a Sunshine Coach between you or on behalf of your club. Or, run your own golf day. Whichever way you choose, Variety Golf will give you every possible help to make this a fulfilling and joyful experience – for you and the kids.
Remember Variety Golf in Your Will
There are a number of ways in which you can leave a legacy to Variety Golf. For example, as an alternative to a specified sum of money, a ‘non-money’ legacy can include property, jewellery, works of art or stocks and shares. Variations to an existing will are relatively straightforward to arrange although, should you be considering a legacy, we would advise taking financial and legal advice.

Set Up A Monthly Direct Debit
This is a simple and direct way to donate and does not require a significant initial outlay. Whatever monthly amount you feel comfortable with – most of our monthly debits are between £25 and £100 a month – all that is required is to instruct your bank to set up the direct debit and your contributions will rapidly add up to a healthy and worthwhile contribution.
