July 7th was our Variety Team Championship at Bearwood Lakes which was kindly sponsored by Joe Hemani and I must say, it really was a special event and Bearwood Lakes was, as always, sensational. They really accommodated us so well.

As you will see from the pictures below, our amazing member and event sponsor Joe Hemani and his son Lee Hemani, presented a Sunshine Coach to local Special Needs School – All Saints Primary SEN School based in Berkshire, along with Sir Kenny Dalglish, Captain Len Goodman & Steve Coppell.

The 2021 Variety Team Championship winners were very football orientated as just before England won their Semi-final, Sir Trevor Brooking and his team of Keith Andrews, Andy Wilding & John Dunn snuck a win in first!  Sir Trevor gave us a few motivational words about the English football team at the prize-giving….and it worked!

Lastly, I am delighted to say that in addition to the Sunshine Coach Joe Hemani presented yesterday, with all the monies raised from the event entries, auction and on course fundraising, I am delighted to say we have raised easily in excess of £25,000, which we therefore use to present another Sunshine Coach later this year.
