June has been a very busy and fruitful month, starting at the lovely Sunningdale Heath Golf Club for our Variety Celebrity Pro-Am, followed by a couple of weeks later at our 25th Anniversary of our Sunshine Classic at Woburn. Then, just a few days later, we had our Inaugural match – Variety Golf v The Carlton Club at Sandy Lodge.
Then on June 22nd we held our 25th Sunshine Classic at Woburn. It was a really special event with 28 teams playing – and the course was without doubt the best-conditioned course we have enjoyed all year. More importantly we presented six Sunshine Coaches to six different Special Needs Schools, which ultimately will have a huge impact on over 750 children who so badly need our help and support.
July is going to be an even busier month with four big events coming up. The Team Championship at Bearwood Lakes, followed by the Len Goodman Classic at The London Club, the Variety Summer Lunch hosted by the one-and-only John Daly (pictured) and then, lastly but by no means least, our Variety Pro-Am at Moor Park hosted this year by eight-time European No1 and Ryder Cup legend, Colin Montgomerie!
