I’m delighted to say it’s been a busy but incredibly successful end to the 2022 golfing season for Variety Golf – in September and October alone we managed to present 13 Sunshine Coaches in just a seven-week period. This has taken our total so far this year to 38 Sunshine Coaches – plus we have two more confirmed to present at our Variety Golf Christmas Lunch on Friday 9th December, taking us to a final total of 40 Coaches for the year! In 2021 we presented 26 Coaches so to be able to present 14 more is sensational and a big thank-you to you all for your support in making this happen!
The cost of 40 Sunshine Coaches is approximately £2million but, more importantly, it will help make a difference to over 6,000 children who so desperately need our help. I am now already finalising the 2023 schedule, so let’s hope we can somehow beat this year and even raise more in 2023. That must be the goal!
