As we approach the beginning of the new golfing season, it’s a good time to reflect on last year – and what a year it was for Variety Golf!
Not only did we present a record number of twenty-six coaches, we also had a hugely successful first Christmas Lunch where the money raised enables us to go into 2022 with the opportunity to fund and present even more coaches.
Not only that, but we have recruited a record number of new members all of whom we welcome with open arms in the certain knowledge that they will enjoy the very special comradeship that exists in our society. It’s a heady combination to play the game we love on the best courses whilst, at the same time, raising substantial funds for children who need our help.
Variety Golf is a truly charitable enterprise operating with very low overheads and maximum effort from our volunteers. On behalf of those special children, I thank you all – members, sponsors and supporters – for everything you do.
