On Monday & Tuesday, October 24th and 25th, we were blessed with two sensational days of sunshine as we played two stunning golf courses, Parkstone and Ferndown– kindly Sponsored by Anthony Trafford.
The Season Finale Trophy was being played for as the best 36-hole individual score, and this was won by Steve Daniels (below, centre) with 76 points (43 + 33), followed closely by Allan Wells MBE with 75 points (40 + 35), with Paul Walsh taking third place with 74 points (35 + 39).
Andy Wilding (below, left) did enough to consolidate his lead in the Business Order of Merit and take the honours, with Tony Negal in 2nd place and Michael Budgen 3rd.
In the Celebrity Order of Merit, it was extremely close with Allan Wells, John Conteh and Paul Walsh all battling it out – but it was the former Olympic Gold medallist who sprinted ahead in the end, claiming yet another medal and winning the Celebrity Order of Merit, with Paul Walsh in 2nd place and John Conteh in 3rd place.
