The sun shone kindly (and appropriately) on our 25th Sunshine Classic – another sell-out event with 28 teams taking part, all kindly sponsored by The Premier League.
It was a great opportunity to showcase what Variety Golf does and was a fine spectacle with six Variety Sunshine Coaches parked up outside the Woburn Clubhouse.
With The Premier League sponsoring, it was great that Past Captain and legendary goalkeeper, Pat Jennings, and his team of Raj Sandhu, Dean Webb & Daryl Hewitt won the trophy! (pictured)
Adger Brown led the proceedings at dinner and introduced two very funny acts – Comic, Kev Orkian, followed by the Former President of the United States, Donald Trump, AKA Mike Osman who ran the auction in style!
With over £300,000 worth of Coaches presented to the six special needs schools, plus a further £70,000 raised on the day, this 25th Anniversary was a truly unforgettable Sunshine Classic!
